Taking a break and detoxing from blogging

So you may have noticed that I have been absent for a few weeks now. I was having a complete writers block and my creativity was lacking life. I could not motivate myself to write or create anything! 

SO I took a few weeks to stop and take a break, to think about what inspired me, what I wanted to write about and also to focus on my upcoming travels. 

 

Did I find the answers? Honestly....I still do not know. Trying to be creative all the time is hard! Sometimes it can come so easily and I will have months of ideas and being of proactive with those ideas. Then comes the slum. My mind will go into a complete blank and the motivation will disappear. Which is not great when you need to still pull out good material to keep your little space on the internet alive. 

 

So, although the creativity has been lacking I have focused all my energy into my upcoming travels and so I decided to write some posts all on that. It may not go with my aesthetic...however, it is something that I am really enjoying and looking forward to lately so I am going to write about it and share it with you guys. In the process, I hope that my protectiveness will spark some creativity for when I get back. 

 

So over the next few weeks whilst I am gallivanting through Europe, I a few travel blog posts going up...but also some youtube videos!  Yes, I have been busy! So for the next Month or two I will be offline. All of these posts are scheduled and ready to go, so it may seem like I am still active online...however, apart from the odd Instagram post and stories...I am going to be having a complete blog detox! 

 

I am going to give myself these two months to travel and enjoy it. Hopefully, by the time I get back I will feel refreshed and full of creativity. Sometimes I think bloggers should do this more often. To have a few weeks to just relax. Have a holiday. A real holiday. Not taking pictures for your feed. Not bringing your work laptop along. Just relax. Have some real time off. That is what I plan to do. Detox and Refresh. I feel like this is going to be the best thing for me and my blog. To maintain it and help it get to the next level. 

 

Even if you are not a blogger, I still think having holidays or a few weeks with time off from social media is also a good thing. It can be so toxic and unhealthy to watch other peoples lives, fascinate over what they have and what you don't have and fixate on body shapes. So take some time out! Let yourself breath and enjoy life!
